Missiles Carry Messages: Iran Thanks India, Others Amid Fresh Strike on Israel
Tehran, March 27 (TNA) Amid the ongoing conflict, Iran launched another wave of missile strikes towards Israel, drawing global attention not only for the escalation but also for unusual messages written on the weapons. Visuals circulating on social media showed missiles carrying notes expressing gratitude to countries that have shown solidarity with Tehran, including India, as well as Spain, Pakistan, and Germany. One message prominently read, “Thank you to people of India.”
Video footage reportedly showed personnel from Iran’s Aerospace Force inscribing these messages on missiles prior to launch. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that this marked the 83rd wave of strikes, carried out on Friday. The operation involved a mix of long- and medium-range missiles along with drones targeting sites in Israel and strategic military locations across the Gulf region, including facilities associated with US forces.
Iranian state agencies claimed that among the targets hit was a maintenance facility linked to the US Patriot air defence system in Bahrain, signaling a widening scope of the conflict.
