RLD Chief Jayant Chaudhary Makes Light Of Exit Polls

Lucknow, March 8 (TNA) Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary has trashed the exit polls conducted by different agencies and television channels and made light of the claims that show that the ruling BJP will comfortably return to power in Uttar Pradesh.

He said on Tuesday that there was an atmosphere of fear in the state and that could be the reason for most people saying that they voted for the BJP.

Nobody wants to risk themselves by admitting to agencies that they had voted in favour of the SP alliance, he said. RLD is part of the SP alliance which claimed that they were returning to power. He also expressed confidence that the SP-RLD alliance will sweep the western UP assembly seats.
