New COVID Cases In Uttar Pradesh Go Under 150 On Saturday, Lucknow Still At Top

Lucknow, February 7 (TNA) Coronavirus cases seemingly are on the ebb now in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Or at least the government data claims so. According to the health department, Friday recorded a low of 145 new patients of COVID across the state, while 164 patients were discharged after they recovered.

The number of deaths from Corona has also become almost constant. Four people died of corona in the state on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed that a total of 1,25,670 samples were examined during the last 24 hours in the state. Thus, a total of 2,85,78,777 samples have been investigated in the state so far.

On Saturday, two people died in the capital Lucknow due to corona, while in Kanpur Nagar and Gorakhpur also one person each died due to the COVID infection.Lucknow reported 24 cases, Noida 8, Ayodhya 8 and so did Mainpuri report the same number of cases. Prayagraj (7), Saharanpur (6), Basti (6), Hapur (6), Varanasi (5) andAzamgarh also reported 5 cases.

He said that 145 new cases of Corona infection have occurred in the state in the last 24 hours. There are 4,438 active cases of corona in the state. In the state, 4,369 people received medical advice through e-Sanjeevani in 24 hours and so far a total of 4,84,784 people.

The recovery rate in the state is 97.82 percent. Prasad also informed that Covid vaccination will be done to the front line employees on 11, 12 and 18 February.
