Kafeel Khan Calls On Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Expresses Gratitude For Her Support When He Was In Jail

NEW DELHI || Former medical practitioner at the BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur who spent months in jail fare the UP government slapped NSA on him for an alleged hate speech, called on Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday and thanked her for her personal support to him.

According to Congress leaders, Khan was accompanied by his wife and children, including UPCC chief Ajay Kumar Lallu. After the release from prison, the Congress General Secretary had spoken to Kafeel Khan and his family on phone and had promised all possible help.

During the meeting, UP Congress State President Ajay Kumar Lallu and Chairman of Minority Congress Shahnawaz Alam were present. The Congress had actively campaigned for the release of Kafeel Khan, through signature campaigns and protests.
