Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi Have Chance Meeting On Flight, Photos Go Viral

Lucknow, Oct 22 (TNA) As the race of UP’s throne hots up ahead of the crucial state assembly polls, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief had a brief encounter on board a flight between New Delhi and Lucknow on Friday. According to an eye witness, the two had a brief chat and exchanged pleasantaries as they waited for their turn to deboard.

Akhilesh Yadav was returning from Delhi after meeting his father and SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav while Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also coming to Lucknow. Priyanka will flag off Congress's 'Pratigya Yatra' in Barabanki on Saturday. In 2017 Congress and SP contested the state assembly polls together.

Congress had won only seven seats while 49 MLAs of SP were elected. After this the alliance of both the parties called off the alliance. Yadav had then said that there would be no alliances with big parties and the experiments were over. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who was instrumental in bringing the two sides together has however gone ballistic against SP off late.

After the Lakhimpur Kheri violence, Priyanka Gandhi had targeted Akhilesh Yadav directly for the first time and had said that SP is not on the streets against BJP. However, Akhilesh immediately replied saying that she stays in the room, so she doesn't see our struggle.
