Akhilesh Yadav Not To Contest 2022 Assembly Elections

Lucknow, Nov 1 (TNA) Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Monday announced that he will not contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls early next year.

Talking to a news agency, the former UP chief minister also said that his party’s electoral alliance with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) for the state assembly polls 2022 has been sealed.

"Our alliance with RLD is final. Seat sharing is to be finalised," he said in the interview.
