14 IPS Transfers In Uttar Pradesh, Nine Districts Get New Police Chiefs

Lucknow, August 9 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 14 officials of the Indian Police Service (IPS), an official informed on Monday. The rejig brings in new police chiefs in nine districts of the state, including Gorakhpur and Lalitpur. According to information available, Dinesh Kumar P, an IPS of the 2009 batch has been removed as SSP Gorakhpur and made the new police of chief of Pilibhit.

Vipin Tanda has been eased out from Ballia and sent as new SSP of Gorakhpur while Raj Karan Nayyar, a 2012 batch IPS has been named as the new SP of Ballia, Ankit Mittal, till now SP Chitrakoot has been made the new SP of Rampur.

Avinash Pandey has been named the new SP of Unnao while Neeraj Kumar Jadaun has bene made the new SP of Baghpat. He has been transferred from Hapur, where he has been succeeded by Deepak Bhookar. Nikhil Pathak has been named as the new SP of Lalitpur. Dhawal Jaiswal is the new district police chief of Chitrakoot and Suresh Rao A Kulkarni has been removed as SP Unnao and has been sent to LIU Lucknow.

Shagun Gautam who was SP Rampur is the new SP Vigilance. Rathore Kirit J Haribhai has been axed as SP of Pilibhit and sent to LIU Agra, Abhishek Singh has been removed from the post of SP Baghpat and has been transferred to ATS as SP while Pramod Kumar, the SP of Lalitpur has been sent to DGP HQ as the new SP of Law and Order.
