UP's 'Ram Mandir' Tableau Receives Roaring Applause At Republic Day Parade At Rajpath

New Delhi, January 26 (TNA) The tableau of Uttar Pradesh received a thunderous applause and a lot of appreciation as it moved as part of the 72nd Republic Day parade at the Raj Path in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Designed after the theme 'Ayodhya: Cultural Heritage of Uttar Pradesh', the tableau of Uttar Pradesh also displayed the model of Ram Mandir, foundation of which was laid by prime minister Narendra Modi in August last year.

The forepart of the tableau showed the world record holding Deepotsava of Ayodhya, in which millions of earthen lamps were lit on the eve of Diwali last year.

While the tableau received a roaring approval from the people sitting on both sides of Rajpath, joy was visible on the face of the union health minister Dr Harshvardhan who got up from his seat and cheered.

The theme song of the tableau was penned by acclaimed lyricist, writer Virendra Vats in which there is reference to the people's immense faith in Lord Ram, his wife Sita and the temple town of Ayodhya.
