Three More Rafale Fighter Jets To Fly In On Wednesday To Join IAF Fleet

NEW DELHI || The Indian Air Force (IAF) will be further strengthened on Wednesday as three more Rafale fighter jets will join its ranks, officials said on Tuesday. The three Rafale aircraft will reach India with any stop, straight from France.

According to some media reports, an air-refuelling aircraft will also accompany the Rafale's. The first fleet of five Rafale aircraft from French company Dassau Aviation arrived in India on July 29. The fleet halted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after flying from France.

India has tied up with France to buy 36 Rafale aircraft for Rs 59,000 crore.
