SP Founder Mulayam Singh Yadav To Be Conferred Padma Vibhushan Today, Akhilesh To Receive

New Delhi, April 5 (TNA) Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadv will be posthumously conferred the Padma Vibhushan at a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday.

Son of the three-time UP chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav will receive the award on behalf of his late father. He will be accompanied by his wife and Mainpuri Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav.

Akhilesh will reach the union capital in the morning and will later drive to the Rashtrapati Bhavan where president Droupadi Murmu will confer the Padma Vibhushan on the late socialist leader. The Padma Vibhushan is the second-highest civilian award of India, after the Bharat Ratna.
