Redmi Note 17 Series Spotted on Certification Site, Global Launch May Be Around the Corner
Bangalore, June 9 (TNA) The highly anticipated Redmi Note 17 series could be gearing up for its global debut sooner than expected. While Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has yet to officially announce the next-generation smartphone lineup, a new certification listing has sparked speculation that the series may soon enter international markets.
The Redmi Note 15 series was launched in India in January this year, featuring four models: the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 Pro+, and Redmi Note 15 SE. Soon after its release, rumours regarding the successor lineup began circulating online, with reports suggesting that the Redmi Note 17 series could make its debut in China later this year.
Adding fuel to the speculation, an unidentified Xiaomi smartphone carrying the model number 26081RA18G has reportedly appeared on the European Economic Community (EEC) certification database. According to a report, the listed device is believed to be part of the upcoming Redmi Note 17 series.
Although the certification does not reveal any specifications or official branding details, such listings are often seen as a key indicator that a product is moving closer to launch. The appearance of the device on the EEC platform also hints at a possible rollout in select global markets following its expected launch in China.
In a separate development, a Vivo smartphone bearing the model number V2619 has also surfaced on the same certification website, indicating that the company may be preparing to introduce a new device in the near future. More details about the Redmi Note 17 series are expected to emerge in the coming months.
