Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ Shoot Halted in Leh as 100 Crew Members Fall Ill Due to Suspected Food Poisoning
Leh, August 19 (TNA) The shoot of Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has come to a sudden halt after over 100 crew members reportedly fell ill on set. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, August 17, during filming at Pathar Sahib in Leh.
Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and child artist Sara Arjun.
According to reports, chaos broke out when several crew members began complaining of severe stomach pain, vomiting, and headaches. More than 100 individuals were rushed to Leh’s S.N.M. (Sajal Narbu Memorial) Hospital for immediate treatment. Doctors later confirmed the cause as food poisoning.
On the day of the incident, food was served to over 600 people on set, after which many began feeling unwell in quick succession. Given the scale of the emergency, the makers suspended filming until the situation stabilises.
While no official statement has been issued by the production team yet, hospital authorities confirmed that the affected crew members are under medical supervision. Shooting of Dhurandhar will remain on hold until the health crisis is fully resolved.
