Poll Panel Names Special Observers For LS Polls In Bihar, UP, Maharashtra, Andhra, Odisha And West Bengal

New Delhi, April 2 (TNA) To ensure level-playing field the ECI deploys Special Observers in six states - Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, as they have been assigned to provide vigilant oversight. General Special Observer Manjit Singh, IAS (Retd) and Police Special Observer Vivek Dube, IPS (Retd.) in Bihar.

The poll panel has named Dharmendra S. Gangwar, IAS (Retd.) as General Special Observer NK Mishra as Police Special Observer in Maharashtra. As General Special Observer for UP, Ajay V Nayak, IAS, (Retd.) and for Police Special Observer Manmohan Singh, IPS (Retd.) have been named.
