Maharashtra Cabinet Expanded, 39 New Ministers Sworn In
Nagpur, December 16 (TNA) Maharashtra witnessed a significant cabinet expansion on Sunday. 39 ministers from BJP, Shiv Sena, and NCP took their oaths in Nagpur, including 19 BJP, 11 Shiv Sena, and 9 NCP MLAs.
Several ministers notably chanted 'Jai Shri Ram' following their oaths. Key figures like Nitesh Rane were appointed, with promises made towards the development of Maharashtra, highlighting the coalition's collaborative spirit and diversity.
Shivsena and NCP both announced a change of Non-Performing ministers after 2.5 years & accommodated new people. Pankaja Munde and Dhananjay Munde both took oath.
The Home Department has been kept by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while the Urban Development Department will be with Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar retains finance.
