India’s Deepest “Inside Pakistan” Strike Since The Indo-Pak War Of 1971
New Delhi, May 7 (TNA) India’s midnight strikes against Pakistan are the deepest New Delhi has ventured into Pakistan’s undisputed borders since the Indo-Pakistani war of 1971, according to defence analysts. Pakistan on Wednesday said five locations were struck by India, three of them in Pakistan-administered Kashmir and two in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
The locations in Punjab are Ahmadpur East and Muridke. The last time India struck inside Pakistan’s undisputed borders was in 2019 when Indian jets conducted airstrikes on several targets after it blamed Islamabad for a suicide car bomb attack that killed at least 40 Indian paramilitary personnel in the region.
