ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Begins Today: India To Play First Match On February 20
New Delhi, February 19 (TNA) The wait is finally over as the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 kicks off today in Pakistan. The mega tournament will witness eight top cricketing nations battle it out for the prestigious title from February 19 to March 9. In the opening match, hosts Pakistan will take on New Zealand at Karachi’s National Stadium.
This edition marks the return of the Champions Trophy after an eight-year hiatus. Defending champions and hosts Pakistan, along with India and Australia, are among the favorites to lift the trophy. New Zealand is also considered a strong contender. The tournament will feature 15 matches, concluding with the final on March 9.
India’s Schedule and Match Timings
Team India will play all its matches in Dubai due to security concerns, as BCCI decided against sending the team to Pakistan. All of India’s matches will start at 2:30 PM IST, with the toss taking place at 2:00 PM IST.
