New Delhi, December 2 (TNA) In a positive sign for the economy following a slow second quarter, the government has reported solid GST revenue figures for November 2024. The total Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection for the month stood at ₹1,82,269 crore.

According to the data released by the Finance Ministry on Sunday, the breakdown of the collections is as follows: Central GST (CGST) ₹34,141 crore, State GST (SGST) ₹43,047 crore, Integrated GST (IGST) ₹91,828 crore, and cess of ₹13,252 crore.

For the period between April and November 2024, the total GST collection reached ₹14,56,711 crore, marking a 9.2% year-on-year growth. However, the government may view the slight dip in November collections compared to October 2024, which recorded ₹1.87 lakh crore, as a concern.
