US President Biden Condoles Demise Of PM Modi’s Mother Heeraben

Washington, December 31 (TNA) President of the United States of America (USA) Joe Biden has condoled the demise of Heeraben Modi, mother of Indian prime minister Narendra Modi. In a tweet on Saturday, the US president wrote:

Jill and I send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the loss of his mother, Heeraben Modi.

Our prayers are with the Prime Minister and his family at this difficult time. Heeraben passed away in the wee hours of Friday at a hospital in Ahmedbad after a brief illness. She was running in her 100th year. PM Modi shared a special bond with her mother, as was obvious in many of his public statements.
