The Need For Nations To Learn To Swim With The Sharks And Survive: The World In A Geopolitical Trapeze

3 min read

The entire world seems to have reversed its pyramidical structure of Geopolitical interfacing. The new era of Technology and the advent of AI have already disrupted the process of how nations think, do governance and do commerce within the nation and in international trade with other nations.

Policies, strategies and goals have and are being redefined and recalibrated with a self-centred direction, throwing to the winds the oft camouflaged perception of helping the not-so-fortunate countries up the ladder of social and economic development at par with other nations

The hypocrisy of concern for other nations has been brutally put to rest with a befitting adage: Me, My Country, My World and all else better find their place. Those in power seek to expand their international territorial ambitions, erasing boundaries, through those at the helm as well, for the furtherance of their economic feifdom, no matter at what cost to life.

The erstwhile norms of war have fled with the winds, with an open and a new accepted norm that Innocent Children, women and the infirm are an accepted part of fodder, to be decimated, for the brutally, no-holds-barred warring factions.

Political assassinations, a taboo at one point, then executed under a cloak of secrecy with a question mark ‘who don’it ‘ and in today’s parlance an open call from the rooftops by national leaders to eliminate the rival nations top leadership We have come a long long way - without a murmur from those at the helm and the so called guardians of the world.

That Nations do so, not for territorial ambitions, but having learnt from the disastrous experience of the Great British Empire - ‘where the sun never sets’ they embark on a roadmap, through remote control, to usurp and subjugate economically identified nations across oceans, with a spine, cocooned with their reservoir of potential economic wealth.

How, through the tactful interplay of stealth, deceit and deception, those in power dismantle the defence mechanisms of those daring to stand up. Today, the world is in a Geopolitical frenzy, pushed by the sudden realisation of the most powerful nation on earth, which has lost the ground beneath its feet.

In a mad rush to recreate the magical aura of the past have pushed the rest of the world into a tizzy. Insecure, unholy alliances and unnatural, self-centred pockets across the world further threaten the stability of the world, now in disorder and turmoil.

In such a brittle dispensation, at what point the economic greed of nations reignites into a physical manifestation, is no longer a figment of imagination. It is a nightmare waiting to stare us in the face

A no-holds-barred physical conflict is looming before us. How nations fit into each other’s shadows would test their skills and resolve. Their manoeuvrability and persistent commitment to their nation’s existence and the values they built themselves on would all be on test. Each nation is on its own, in an ocean full of Sharks.

How they adapt, circumvent, and still survive will be a tale waiting to be told. And Posterity, if it survives, will smilingly look back and wonder how foolishly those in the past handled such a simplistic jigsaw.
