Rajan Sahni Of Jalandhar Is The Immigration Minister of Alberta In Canada

Toronto, Nov 9 (TNA) A wave of happiness is sweeping the Indian, specially the Punjabi fraternity here, with the appointment of Jalandhar's Rajan Sahni as the Minister for Immigration and Multi-culturalism in the newly formed government in the Canadian state of Alberta.

Rajan Sahni was born in the village of Wadala in Jalandhar district and became involved in politics after living in Alberta, Canada with parents for a long time. She was also in the race for Chief Minister of Alberta, but fell behind and Daniel Smith who became the chief ministerial candidate.
