Joe Biden Wishes Indian Americans On Navratri, Says Festival Symbolises Victory of Good Over Evil

WASHINGTON || The Democrat candidate for the US presidential election, Joe Biden has wished people of Indian origin in the United States on the nine-day Hindu festival of Nav Ratri.

Wishing the Indians on the festival, which he said, was symbolic of the victory of good over evil, Joe Biden tweeted, saying that as soon as the Hindu Navratri festival starts, Jill and I send our best wishes to all those celebrated in America and around the world. Once again the victory of good over evil and wishing new opportunities and beginnings for all.

In a keenly contested presidential polls, where Biden is pitted against incumbent president Donald Trump, the Tweet s aimed at the crucial Indian-American votes that could sway fortunes. Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris has also greeted Indian Americans on Navratri. Presidential election is to be held in America on November 3.
