Army Trashes Social Media Reports On Seeking Donations For Purchase Of Weapons

NEW DELHI || The Indian Army has categorically rubbished reports in the Social Media on donations to Armed Forces Battle Casualties Welfare Fund for purchase of weapons and equipment as "not true".

In a series of tweets, Indian Army clarified that the subject fund was opened in response to desire of citizens to contribute to the welfare of battle casualties and their next of kin and is being utilised solely for that purpose.
