Young UP Journalist Neelanshu Shukla Claimed By COVID, Dies At 28

Many senior journalists condoled the untimely passing away of Shukla. He was 28 and was engaged only very recently.

LUCKNOW || Tragedy hit the media fraternity in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday as a budding journalist Neelanshu Shukla died of the Coronavirus infection. Friendly and courteous, the young journalist and endeared himself to his colleagues and the media circles. He worked for Aaj Tak, a news channel of The India Today Group.

He was admitted at a medical facility in Kanpur after he contracted the Coronavirus.

Many senior journalists condoled the untimely passing away of Shukla. He was 28 and was engaged only very recently.

Additional Chief Secretary Avanish Kumar Awasthi also mourned his demise. "My deepest deepest condolences condolences on the sad demise of my dear friend Neelanshu of India Today Network. May his soul rest in peace" the high-ranking official said in a message.

The News Agency team mourns the going away of such a young soul, who had so much left to give to the world.
