Yogi To Kickstart BJP’s Campaign For Civic Body Polls From Saharanpur On Monday

Lucknow, April 23 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will kickstart the urban body election campaign from Monday, an official said. The ambitious poll campaign from Saharanpur, the land of Maa Shakambhari Devi where he will address an election rally in the Maharaj Singh Degree College.

On the very first day, the Chief Minister will also hold public meetings in Shamli and Amroha. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak will start the election campaign from Ghaziabad. At the same time, BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary will also participate in the election campaign from Meerut on April 24.

State's urban body elections are being held in two phases. In the first phase, polling in 390 urban bodies will be held on May 4. While in the second phase, votes for 370 urban bodies will be cast on May 11. The urban body elections being held before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are being considered as semi-finals. That's why BJP has entered the election field with great preparation.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is starting the civic body election campaign on 24 April. After meeting in Saharanpur, Yogi will address public meeting at Bibi Inter College in Shamli. After this, a public meeting will be held in the police line under construction in Amroha and will ask for votes for the BJP candidates.
