Yogi Suspends SDM Of Pratapgarh Accused Of Beating An Employee To Death

Lucknow, April 4 (TNA) Taking a grim view of the death of a ‘nayab nazir’ after being allegedly beaten by an SDM in Pratapgarh, chief minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered suspension of the accused sub-divisional magistarte. According to information, SDM Gyanendra Vikram Singh Yadav, accused of killing ‘nayab Nazir’ Sunil Kumar Sharma of Pratapgarh's Lalganj tehsil has been immediately susend.

Yadav is absconding and police teams have also gone to Lucknow and Sultanpur to arrest him. SDM of Lalganj in Pratapgarh, Gyanendra Vikram Singh Yadav, along with three others had beaten up Nayab Nazir Sunil Kumar Sharma (55) with a stick on Wednesday night. Sunil died in the district hospital on Saturday night during treatment.

After this, the employees created a ruckus. After this, a report under section 302 was registered against four people including the accused SDM Gyanendra Vikram Singh Yadav. The employees leaders have demanded the arrest of the accused SDM, Rs 50 lakh compensation to the family of the deceased and government job for the son.
