Yogi Instructs Official To Implement Action Plan After Micro-Analysis Of COVID Situation In Lucknow, Kanpur

He said the markets should remain open from 9 am to 9 pm and observe Sundays as weekly holiday.

LUCKNOW || Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday directed officials to prepare and implement an action plan after micro-analysis of the Covid situation in Lucknow and Kanpur Nagar. He asked to prepare a team of specialist doctors in Lucknow to impart their expertise on digital platforms.

He also directed to intensify contact tracing, door-to-door survey and surveillance work for a larger cause of keeping tab on the Corona spread. Expressing satisfaction on conducting more than 1.49 lakh Covid tests per day, directed health department officials to increase it further to 1.50 lakh per day.

The testing is crucial in tackling the menace of Corona hence should be ramped up on a regular basis till the vaccine or well-defined treatment for the same is explored, he added.

Presiding over a high-level unlock review meeting at his official residence on Tuesday, he reiterated that the DMs and CMOs should hold morning meetings in Covid Hospital and evening meetings in Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) to chalk out future strategy against Corona.

He also asked the police to further augment the patrolling mechanism and said that the transport department should engage more in enforcement activities.
