Yogi Elected Leader Of BJP Legislature Party, To Be Sworn In As UP Chief Minister Tomorrow

Lucknow, March 24 (TNA) Yogi Adityanath was on Thursday formally chosen the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by the newly elected legislators of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators. BJP Veteran lawmaker Suresh Khanna proposed his name which was unanimously adopted in presence of union home minister Amit Shah and the second observer send=t by the BJP president, Raghuvar Das.

In his thanks giving speech, the monk-turned-politician expressed gratitude to all who had made the return of BJP to power possible and said that he was thankful to PM Modi and Amit Shah specially who helped him master the art of good governance and smooth running of administration in his first term.

"The party believed in me in 2017. I was just a normal MP and I had no administrative experience and yet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the home minister were like guardians to me and told me how to being good governance to UP”, he staated. He will be sworn in on Friday in presence of PM Modi, a battery of biggies from the saffron camp and chief ministers of various BJP-ruled states.
