Lucknow, July 14 (TNA) Development is an important component that drives economic growth, betters infrastructure, and raises the living standards of the people. Altogether it will help in making India self-reliant, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday during his visit to Gorakhpur.

Stating that it is important to use money in the right direction for the development as it is a game-changer for the citizens and there is no alternative for development, the CM further said, “The Government is leaving no stone unturned to develop every town and district of the state.”

The CM also made it cleared that once the project is approved, it should be ensured that no project is left uncompleted. This keeps increasing the rate of the project, eventually making it unaffordable for the common public., he added.

We Will Help Destitute Women Become Self Reliant

On women who lost their husbands because of COVID-19, Yogi assured them that the Centre and the State Government is with them. “Our Government is working towards the betterment of women who lost their husbands due to Covid-19. Camps will be set up to provide the pensions. They will also be employed based on their skills and will help them become self-reliant.”

In view of the probable third wave, the work of cleanliness and fogging is being done on a regular basis. Considering fears that the 3rd COVID-19 wave will affect children more, pediatric ICUs have been increased to over 6400 across Uttar Pradesh.

Praise From Apex Court

Stating that the Supreme Court appreciated the model of the Yogi government of skill mapping of workers/labourers, who came back from other states, and provided them jobs in their own villages, CM said, “We have managed to save the livelihood of the migrants by giving them employment opportunities and making them self-reliant.”

The Supreme Court acknowledged the Yogi government’s efforts to manage the migrant crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Apex Court praised the government for establishing a ‘robust system of registration of migrant workers’ when they returned to Uttar Pradesh after the lockdown was imposed across the country in 2020.

It is noteworthy that the request of the people in Gorakhpur has been fulfilled. AIIMS has also been established which will bring a lot of employment opportunities too.

The AIIMS and fertilizers will be dedicated to the public by October 2021after being inaugurated by PM Modi.

On Tourism Development, CM said that tourism development includes not just roads but even old temples. It will also generate many employment opportunities for the people.
