Yogi Asks Officials To Immediately Distribute Relief To People Hit By Storm, Rain

Lucknow, May 24 (TNA) UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath late on Monday told District Magistrates of districts affected by the incidents of storm, rain and lightning to distribute immediate relief to the victims, families.

Instructions were also given to ensure proper medical arrangements for injured persons. A detailed report after making assessment in relation to loss of life, animal loss and crop damage.

He said that any kind of negligence or laxity in providing relief and help would not be tolerated. The Chief Minister has instructed his officers that after taking feedback from all the districts, necessary steps should be taken immediately as per the requirement.

Along with this, he has instructed all the district magistrates to conduct intensive tour in their districts and take stock of the damage and Divisional Commissioners to effectively monitor the relief work.
