Yogi Adityanath's Popularity On Twitter Touches New High, First CM To Cross 25 Million Followers

Lucknow, June 14 (TNA) In his consecutive second-term as the chief minister of India’s most populous state, popularity of Yogi Adityanath is scaling new heights on the social media. And so now he has become the first chief minister in India to have a staggering 25 million followers on micro-blogging site Twitter.

On Tuesday, CM Yogi's official Twitter handle @myogiadityanath crossed the figure of 25 million. CM Yogi has achieved this figure in a span of 8 years. He started his official handle on Twitter in September 2015. He was an MP at that time.

After taking over the reigns of power of Uttar Pradesh in 2017, the way he showed extensive reforms in law and order along with development and good governance in the state, there was a qualitative increase in his popularity.

With touching the figure of 2.5 crore followers on Twitter, CM Yogi became a part of that club, which also includes leaders like PM Modi and union home minister Amit Shah. Yogi keeps on communicating with people offline as well as online. He is very active on the social media including Facebook, Instagram and indigenous social media app Ku. He is counted as the most active CM and politician on social media.
