Yogi Adityanath Government Rejigs Police Department, 16 IPS Officials Transferred

Lucknow, September 18 (TNA) The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday rejigged the state police force and transferred 16 Indian Police Services (IPS) officers. The SPs of Hardoi, Sonbhadra, and Pratapgarh have been replaced. The SPs of Unnao, Azamgarh, Kushinagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Aurraiya, and Deoria have also been changed.

In this way, the SPs of nearly 10 districts have been changed in one go. Several IPS officers currently serving as SPs in various districts have been attached to the DGP headquarters. Dr. Anil Kumar, a 2016 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the SSP of Azamgarh. IPS Hemraj Meena has been attached to the DGP headquarters.

Hemraj Meena was previously the SSP of Azamgarh. Similarly, Santosh Kumar Mishra has also been attached to the DGP headquarters; he was currently the SP of Kushinagar. Jayprakash Singh has been appointed as the SP of Unnao district. Similarly, Sanjeev Suman has been appointed as the SP of Deoria district. IPS Vikrant Veer has been attached to the DGP headquarters; he was currently the SP of Deoria.

Neeraj Kumar Jadon, who was the SP of Hardoi, has been appointed as the SSP of Aligarh. Ashok Kumar Meena has been appointed as the SP of Hardoi district. Abhishek Verma has been appointed as the SP of Sonbhadra district. Deepak Bhukar has been appointed as the SP of Pratapgarh district. Anil Kumar has been appointed as the SSP of Azamgarh. Keshav Kumar has been appointed as the SP of Kushinagar district. Keshav Kumar was currently the SP of Ambedkar Nagar district.

Abhijit R. Shankar has been appointed as the new SP of Ambedkar Nagar district. Abhijit R. Shankar was currently the SP of Aurraiya district. In this series of transfers, Abhishek Bharti has been appointed as the SP of Aurraiya district. Manish Kumar Shandilya has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj Commissionerate.

Anil Kumar Jha has been appointed as the SP of Agra Railway, he was currently posted in Ballia district. Sarvesh Kumar Mishra has been appointed as the Commanding Officer of the 4th PAC Battalion in Prayagraj. He was previously serving as the Commanding Officer/Deputy Commanding Officer of the 27th PAC Battalion in Sitapur.
