Yogi Addresses The Lease Deed Exchange Event Between Noida Authority And IKEA

Lucknow, February 19 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday attended the land transfer/lease deed exchange program between the Noida Authority and IKEA through video conferencing at his official residence in the state capital.

While congratulating and wishing both the organisations on the occasion, he expressed happiness over IKEA's investment in Noida and said that due to the continuous efforts of the state government, the state has emerged as an attractive destination for investors and entrepreneurs.

The region of Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway Authority of the state is the most promising area of investment in the country, he further underlined.

Investment proposals are continuously being received here, he informed while saying that the work of setting up a data center park in Noida and the country's largest display unit is being done at a rapid pace. Noida International Airport is being established at Jewar and Film City is being developed at Yamuna Expressway Authority, he stated further.

Yogi Adityanath also said that IKEA is an international organization working in the area of social schemes including women empowerment, child development. This institution is investing Rs 5500 crores in Noida. IKEA will construct shopping malls, hotels, offices, retail outlets etc. for the general public. 

This investment will create about 2,000 direct jobs and more than 20,000 indirect employment opportunities. He expressed confidence that IKEA will also invest in other cities of the state including Noida.
