World's Biggest Names Including Google, Amazon, FB, Twitter Will Now Keep Data In Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Nov 30 (TNA) Renowned companies like Google, Amazon, Face Book, YouTube, and Central Cart will now keep their data in Uttar Pradesh. Work on the first data centre with the foundation stone laying of a data center with an investment of around Rs 600 crore in Noida.

By this, CM Yogi has taken the formative steps towards ending the dependency of keeping data abroad. Hiranandani Group of Mumbai has started construction of a 20-acre data center.

This data center park with a capacity of 250 MW will provide direct employment to 2000 youth. Through this largest data center in North India, more than 20 thousand people are also going to indirectly get employment and business opportunities.

While this project will generate a lot of employment for the youth, IT companies working in UP and elsewhere will get a lot of help in doing their business. It will be the first-of-its-kind data center park equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities.

The seriousness of the Yogi government regarding the data center can be gauged from the fact that during the Coronavirus pandemic itself, the entire project has been materialised, as well as land allotment and now the foundation stone has been done.

By June 2022, UP's first data center will start functioning. With the introduction of the data center, nearly a dozen companies in the country and the world, including Google, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and Central Cart, will be able to keep their data secure here.

After setting up data centers in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, the Hiranandani Group, is now preparing to build the first in UP and the largest data center in northern India, has called it a data revolution in India.

To invest in the data center sector, Rack Bank, Adani Group and Earth companies have proposed a huge investment of Rs 10,000 crore to the UP government. Yogi government has started preparations for this too.

Due to lack of sufficient data center in India, data is kept abroad from all parts of the country including Uttar Pradesh. After the creation of a data center park, one will be able to keep their data safe in our own country. On the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work has been done on the plan to build such data centers across the country for some time.
