Woman Sub-inspector Found Hanging In Amethi

Amethi, April 22 (TNA) A woman sub-inspector of the Uttar Pradesh Police was found hanging at her official residence in Amethi district on Friday evening. The deceased Rashmi Yadav, was Chowki in-charge of the Women Police Station at Mohanlalganj.

The death has sent shock waves in the police force. SP Amethi, Dinesh Singh informed that the woman sub-inspector was rushed to the district hospital where she was pronounced brought dead.

Officials also said that the reason for her tragic and untimely death would only be ascertained by an autopsy, which has been ordered. Her father however has alleged that his daughter was murdered.
