With Portfolio Allocation, Yogi Signals Big Push For Development, Delivery
Lucknow, March 29 (TNA) With the much-awaited portfolio of the new ministers in the UP government finally announced on Monday, the stage is now set for focus on governance for Yogi 2.0. With chief minister Yogi Adityanath keeping a whopping 34 departments with himself, including the civil aviation, earlier with Gopal Nandi, he has made it clear that air connectivity is going to be the next major area of focus for the state government.
The saffron-robed chief minister also has Home, Vigilance, Infor- mation, Personnel, etc while Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, has been given Rural Development, Rural Engineering, Food Processing, Enter- tainment Tax.
Jitin Prasad, who joined the BJP last year and is an MLC has been given the plum portfolio of PWD department. Another Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak will head Medical Education, Medical and Health and Family Welfare departments. Former close aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ex-bureaucrat AK Sharma will hold the charge of Urban Development and Energy.
