Wife Of Army Trooper Who Committed Suicide In Kashmir A Few Days Back Also Hangs Self In Etah

Etah, August 12 (TNA) Wife on an army trooper who had committed suicide in Kashmir six days, followed suit as her body as found hanging at her home in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The two were married on January 29, 2019 but the two were never in the best of terms since the wedlock.

Army trooper Arvind Chauhan, a resident of Bijori village falling under Kotwali, was stationed in Kashmir and his body was found hanging in an army camp on August 6. It was reported that he was fed up with the domestic strife and he took the extreme decision hence.

And now, six days after her husband's death, his wife Aarti has also committed suicide by hanging. Arvind Chauhan's body was brought to Etah from Kashmir on August 10. Funeral took place here in village Bijori. During the funeral, Aarti had reached the funeral to pay her last respects to her husband Arvind, but the family members did not allow her to see him.

This apparently broke her and she went to her parents home in a depressed state. Arvind Chauhan, a resident of Bijauri village in Tehsil Sadar area, was appointed as a soldier in the army five years ago. His elder brother is also in the army. He is currently posted in Ahmednagar. Father Arun Chauhan is also retired from the army.
