UP STF Unearths Fake ‘Fortune’ Refined Oil Making Unit In Aligarh

Aligarh, Sep 24 (TNA) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh Police busted four fake refined oil manufacturing unit on Friday and arrested one person. The units were manufacturing oil under popular brand ‘Fortune’, police said.

Goods worth several lakh rupees were seized also. According to the legal advisor of the group manufacturing the Fortune brand oil, the demand of their refined oil dipped in the region recently though the brand name was being sold in a big way. The company lodged a complaint with the police.

The FDA team also came together with the district administration and along with the local police raided Yogesh Kumar Gupta's Jagannath Traders in Morni Wala Pench area in Gudiya Bagh of Dehli Gate area.

A huge amount of tin was recovered in the godown here with the label Fortune. The team has recovered 185 tins of 15 kg, 480 stickers, 1340 plastic caps, a stamping machine from here. An accused Yogesh has arrested.
