UP Policemen To Shift To Winterwear From November 1, DGP Issues Instructions

Lucknow, October 27 (TNA) DGP Vijay Kumar has issued instructions to all the policemen that according to the changing weather, all the policemen should wear winter uniform from Thursday night. He has given instructions to wear winter uniform both day and night from November 1st.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Department has implemented this new rule for all policemen, which will . come into effect from November 1. DGP Vijay Kumar has issued instructions for this. Besides, all Police Commissioners, SSPs and other officers have been asked to follow the instructions.

In this context, Additional Director General of Police N Ravinder wrote a letter to the Police Commissioners, SSPs and other officers of all the districts regarding the orders of the DGP and said that compliance with the said instructions should be ensured.
