UP Constitutes Judicial Commission To Probe Killing Of Atiq-Ashraf, Retired Allahabad HC Judge To Head
Lucknow, April 16 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday constituted a three-member judicial commission to probe the killings of don brothers Atiq and Ashraf, who were killed by three assailants in Prayagraj on Saturday night. The Commission has been formed under the Constitution of Inquiry Act 1952 by the state Home Department.
“Under this, the events of 15th April in the district of Prayagraj will be einvestigated” a statement said. Under the formal orders, issued by the Home Department, the judicial commission will be completing the probe within two months and submit its report.
The commission will be headed over by Arvind Kumar Tripathi II, retired Allahabad High Court judge, retired IPS Subesh Kumar Singh and retired district judge Brijesh Kumar Soni.
