LUCKNOW || Expressing satisfaction over the positivity rate going down considerably, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on Saturday said that it is a good sign and clearly shows that the measures taken by the government in controlling the Covid-19 are fool proof.
Presiding over a high-level unlock meeting here at his official residence, he said this is the time we should continue to work with a perfect team work to fight the Corona menace. The Chief Minister praised high number of testing which is being done.
He asked to continue in the same vein and ensure there is no shortage of man-power in the Covid hospitals. He said all the hospitals should have proper availability of oxygen with adequate back-up. He asked the Additional Chief Secretaries of Health and Medical Education departments to ensure availability of medicines and other related materials in District hospitals, CHCs, PHCs and Medical Colleges/Institutes respectively.
The Chief Minister directed to pay special attention to Lucknow and said the nodal officer in the district Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development and Panchayati Raj should present a good model for the Covid control in consultations with Additional Chief Secretaries of Health and Medical Education.
The Chief Minister said that the government has deployed Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary Officers as nodal officers in 16 districts. He expected the Medical Education Minister to interact with these nodal officers and provide them necessary guidance in controlling the Covid.
