UP CM Asks Officials To Operate Virtual ICU Of L-3 COVID Hospitals From SGPGI, L-2 From KGMU

LUCKNOW || With an aim to benefit more and more patients, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to operate virtual ICU of L-3 Covid hospitals from SGPGI and L-2 Covid hospitals from KGMU, an official said on Sunday.

The CM also directed to keep an eye on Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur and Meerut districts and to further enhance medical facilities in these districts.

He said that ACS health and ACS Medical Education should be in regular communication with the DM's, CMOs and the chiefs of district hospitals/medical colleges of the districts with lower recovery rates and ensure availability of all required facilities.

Directing to increase Covid-19 testing, the CM said that it is also important to increase contact tracing. The CM also directed that the training programme of the paramedics should be held regularly.

The CM said that medicine and oxygen should be available in adequate quantity in Covid hospitals with proper back up. CM also directed that special attention should be paid on cleanliness in hospitals and bio-medical wastes should be disposed of as per norms.

He also directed that doctors should take rounds at regular intervals in Covid hospitals and it should be ensured that ambulance services should be operational actively.
