UP Cabinet To Meet Today, More Than 20 Proposals On Agenda

Lucknow, May 12 (TNA) The first cabinet meet of the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in the state after the release of the civic body election schedule will take place in the state capital on Friday, an official spokesman said.

Sources said that proposals like issuing letter of intent of four private universities, development of Shringverpur Dham, approval of benefits given to investors under policies, distribution of mini kits of pulses and oilseeds among farmers and extension of lease of Hero Moto Crops are included. Proposals for approval of demolition of old buildings of some departments is also included.

Apart from this, the proposal for amendment in the Industrial Development and Employment Promotion Policy-2022 can be approved in the cabinet. 100% reimbursement of stamp duty will be given to the investors who have already bought the land after passing the proposal from the cabinet. Apart from this, a proposal to give relief in electricity bill to the weavers can might also be approved by the cabinet, an official said.
