UP Bans Strikes For Six Months In All Departments, Corporations And Authorities

Lucknow, February 17 (TNA) Amid the ongoing farmers' movement in the country, the UP government has banned strikes for six months. A notification has been issued in this regard by Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Devesh Chaturvedi.

According to the notification, it is necessary to do so in the public interest. This rule will also apply to government departments, all corporations and authorities under the state government.

Yogi government has made a big decision before the Lok Sabha elections. Yogi government has banned strikes in UP for the next 6 months. This rule will apply to government departments, corporations and authority departments under the state government.

While issuing the order, the government said strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules. Under this, the police can arrest the strikers without issuing any warrant. Government employees often sit on strike for their demands. In such situations, work often gets affected. At the same time, people have to face a lot of problems.
