Toxic Gas In A Mentha Plant In Shahjahanpur Kills Two

Shahjahanpur, July 26 (TNA) Two persons were killed due to toxic gas in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The deceased had gone down a tank at the Mentha plant to clean it. The deceased include a woman. According to information available, the deceased were a mother-son duo.

The woman got down the tank after hearing cries of help from her son who got trapped in the tank. She went to rescue him but was killed by the toxic and poisonous gas. The son is however in a critical condition and is being treated at a medical facility.
