Three Krishnanagar Police Station Officers Sent To Lines In Incident Involving Girl Slapping A Cab Driver

Lucknow, August 5 (TNA) The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has taken a grim view of the incident on the Awadh square last week when a girl openly and brutally kept slapping a hapless cab driver - an act which created a furore on the social media.

Late on Wednesday, Lucknow Police Commissioner acted against top cops of the Krishnanagar police station and sent to lines the inspector Mahesh Kumar Dubey, Sub-inspector Mohd Mannan, SHO Bhola Kheda Harendra Singh.

An initial probe into the whole matter has also been assigned to additional police commissioner (central) Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha.
