Tejas Express Between Lucknow-New Delhi To Restart Operations From Today

Lucknow, August 7 (TNA) With Covid cases going down considerably across the country and specially in Uttar Pradesh, the first corporate train of Indian Railways - Tejas Express, will start chugging again from today.

According to officials, 82501/82502 will now run for four days a week - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between Lucknow-Delhi.

There will be a total of 16 coaches (12 CC, 02 EC, 02 Power Car) and all the facilities provided to the passengers in this premium train earlier will be provided as before.

This decision has been taken by the newly appointed Chief Regional Manager Ajit Kumar Sinha after inspecting the Tejas.

It has to be also ensured that all IRCTC employee on the Tejas Express, are vaccinated. The top-ranking official also directed that all Covid protocols be followed in toto.
