Six Killed, Three Critically Wounded In Road Accident In UP's Bahraich District

BAHRAICH || At least six people have been killed and more than a dozen wounded as a packed van was hit by another vehicle on the Gonda-Bahraich national highway in the wee hours of Monday, police said. The mishap took place near the Shivdaha turn.

All the passengers in the van were returning from a pilgrimage. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem while the injured have been rescued and sent to at the district hospital, where condition of three is stated to be very critical.

Police officer Mukesh Singh told The News Agency that the passengers in the van were returning from a pilgrimage at Kichaucha in Ambedkarnagar.
