Show Cause Notices Issued To 14 DM’s, 16 District Police Chiefs After Yogi Found Them Absent From Janata Darshan

Lucknow, Oct 2 (TNA) A reality check conducted on the instructions of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday found 14 district magistrates and 16 district police chiefs missings in the daily Janata Darshan, mandated by the state government as must.

Angered by this, CM Yogi has instructed to issue show cause notices against absent officers and take action if they do not get satisfactory answers. Along with this, he has given instructions for monitoring of Janata Darshan program at district level from Chief Minister's Office, Chief Secretary's Office, Additional Chief Secretary Home and DGP level.

All the DMs were called on the landline from the Chief Minister's Office and the Chief Secretary's office. For the reality check of police captains posted in similar districts, three police zone captains were called from the office of Additional Chief Secretary Home.

In three zones, DGP Mukul Goyal called himself and in three zones the call was made from the office of the ADG LO. All these officers were called twice before 9.30 pm and after 10 pm. In this reality check, 16 DMs and 14 captains were absent from the office during public darshan.

Adityanath has directed all the District Magistrates and SP’s in avrious districts of the state to be present in the offices from 10 am to 12 noon every day to solve the problems and grievances of the people.
