Senior Hindi Journalist Raj Bahadur Singh Passes Away

Lucknow, June 1 (TNA) The media fraternity in the state capital capital was plunged into mourning as senior journalist Raj Bahadur Singh passed away at the Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI). One of the most informed political journalist in the state, Singh died of multi-organ failure after suffering a cardiac arrest, a close friend informed. He was 54.

He has left behind his wife Madhu, sons Aviral Raj Singh and Avijeet Raj Singh and a long list of friends, colleagues and well wishers. Many senior journalists have mourned his untimely death. In his career he worked in major organisations, including Dainik Jagran. Singh was currently the bureau chief of Hindi daily Pioneer.

Several politicians including UP State Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana have mourned the death of Raj Bahadur Singh.
