Senior BJP Spokesman Of UP BJP Manoj Mishra Dies Of COVID

Lucknow, May 2 (TNA) Senior spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Manoj Mishra died on Monday after a long battle with COVID. He was infected with the deadly virus in April and had to be put on ventilator after his condition worsened.

In the last week of April also rumours of his passing away had sent the ruling party in a tizzy but the end came on Monday morning at a medical facility.

Known for his humility and knowledge of politics in the Hindi heartland, Manoj Mishra was one of the very few BJP leaders who remained easily accessible even after the saffron party stormed to power in 2017.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and many party leaders have condoled the demise of Mishra and have extended their condolences to the bereaved family of the late leader.
